About Marial Lodge

Marial Lodge is a wonderful riverside lodge along the Rogue River, offering excellent accommodations for boaters before passing through Mule Creek Canyon and Blossom Bar. There is a lovely garden, and Marks Creek passes right alongside the lodge. Rooms are available at Marial Lodge from May through the first week of November. Rooms are often booked well in advance, so be sure to make your bookings as soon as possible.

A brief history of Marial Lodge

Marial Lodge was named after the daughter of Postmaster Tom Billings whom established the post office at Marial in 1903.  This was the 3rd of the 3 post offices established on the lower Rogue wilderness. It was the last post office in the US to be operated solely by pack mule when it closed in 1955.  Marial lived there on site running the place as a small bed and breakfast for the passing fishermen headed down river, cooking the days catch and providing a place to sleep for the night.  In 1967, Ted Camp bought the Lodge from Marial and built it into what it is today.  Ted operated the lodge until he sold to his niece, Lori and her husband, Pat in 1985.  From there, Pat and Lori owned and operated the lodge until 2018, creating a spot in Rogue River history for being what many agree to be the most hospitable hosts on the river. In 2019, Rob and Amber Biscarret purchased the lodge to continue the hospitality and community that so many have grown to know and love.
