Colorado
Colorado is loaded with a wide variety of rivers, ranging from scenic, flatwater floats through grandiose canyons, to raging Class V whitewater ripping out of the Rockies. In the springtime, snowmelt from Colorado’s numerous 14,000′ peaks pours into their rivers, draining east into the Mississippi River Basin and west into the Colorado River Basin making it a whitewater paradise.
