This small camp can fit just a handful of tents. Shade arrives late, with the sun following the ridgeline well into the afternoon. There’s a good groover spot downstream. From this camp, you can scramble to Howard Creek, which is about a quarter mile upstream, and explore its pools. Well worth it on hot days.
