About Pool Camp
There are two sections to Pool Camp. The first is the most apparent, which is the small beach area just after the small rapid. Just downstream of this, on the bar, is the main camping area, which provides tons of room for tents and the rest of the camp.
As the name implies there can be good swimming at this camp. For those looking for hiking, the Middle Fork trail is on this side of the river, and following this up river is just over a mile to Camas Creek, which provides good exploration.
