By this point, you probably get it: Impassable Canyons is beautiful waterfalls galore. Unlike its waterfall neighbor, Veil Falls, the volume of water coming down Mist Falls does change throughout the summer. It’s prettiest in the spring and early summer when there is more volume as it does transform into a less-impressive trickle as you get into late summer. One nice aspect of this waterfall is its close proximity to the river. The view doesn’t necessarily improve if you scramble right up to it, so most boaters will simply enjoy the view as they float by or take a quick break in the eddy and enjoy it from their rowing seat.
