From 30-60 m³/s this surf hole is incredible for rafts and kayaks alike. Above 60 m³/s, the only way to surf from a raft is to catch it “on the fly” as the eddy service disappears. For eddy service surfing, punch the river right side of the hole with momentum and paddle hard into the eddy on the right. This powerful hole can easily flip a raft and can be quite sticky for kayakers.
