Rivernook Campground is the largest privately owned campground on the Upper Kern. They offer tent sites and full and partial hookup sites. They are located only 3 minutes from Kernville. They have 40 acres of campsites and private beaches, with the majority of their sites being either riverfront or have creek-front access. Rivernook Campground is open year-round and has accommodations for every type of camper, even those with pets.
Being 3 minutes from Kernville means that they are only a short drive away from the local brewery, grocery store, restaurants, and rafting outfitters. They are also only 1.5 hours away from The Trail of 100 Giants hike in the Sequoia National Forest.
