About Moccasin Creek Put-in
Moccasin Creek put-in is the most commonly used put-in for the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. When flows are high enough, you should be able to float directly from the put-in to confluence with the Middle Fork of the Flathead. If the water drops, you will have to walk your boat until it gets deep enough to float to the confluence.
There are pit toilets on the upper end of the launch ramp. Be as quick as you can at this put-in, especially during the busier summer months, then park your car at the lot which is located just a bit upstream of the launch ramp.

The bridge over Moccasin Creek at low water. Walking the boat along the shallows was needed.

The launch ramp for Moccasin Creek is a straightforward backup with ample room for turning around when it is not busy.
