Woolard Camp

About Woolard Camp

This is a large, beautiful camp. At high water, you will want to park your rafts at the upstream side, before the rapid. At lower flows, run the rapid and then park in the bottom eddy on the downstream side of camp. The groover location is down river. The rapid flanking Woolard Camp is fun to play in during low water. The camp itself is on a long flat shelf and provides ample space for tents, kitchen, and chair circle. A short but steep hike earns you a good view of camp as well as Survey Camp, just upriver.

If there are fishermen in the group, the pool just upriver from Woolard camp is deep and is good fishing.
