About Waterfall Creek

The name is obvious when it comes into view with the cascading and turbulent water plummeting into the river. Waterfall Creek can easily be appreciated from the raft as you float by, but most prefer to pull over just downstream of its confluence, scramble to the trail (the trail is right there, but it is a scramble and not a stroll), and then walk to the bridge for the full effect. During peak runoff the water is so loud you’ll have to shout to be heard. Be careful during this time too as the water will be splashing onto the wooden bridge making it extremely slippery. As the season goes on the waterfall is still impressive but not thundering as much.
