The Kern River Sequoia RV Resort, formerly known as Camp James, is a riverfront campground with large riverfront campsites. Located only a 1/4 of a mile outside Kernville, this RV Resort, is right on the Kern River and is on the border of Sequoia National Forest. This resort is only a 2 minute drive from Kernville, where you can find restaurants, gas stations, rafting outfitters and a grocery store. Open year round and welcome to both pets and large groups, this is a great destination for any trip.

The KRS RV Resort is chalk full of services for their campers. For example, they have full hookups, a dump station, 50 Amp and WiFi. They also have several recreational options like basketball, horseshoes, swimming, volleyball and much more. They have many site options too, from tent sites to cabins to rental trailers to Big Rig RV sites. They really can accommodate all.

Operating since 1942, this family-owned RV Resort offers many different options for staying at the Kern River. You can pitch a tent and sleep out under the stars, bring your RV, rent a Cabin or rent a house. Although this resort is more expensive than your other Kern River options, it is also in pristine shape, has TV/ Satellite Service, hot showers available 24 hours a day and a convenience store. You will also have access to a bath house, a dog park, a playground and a fish cleaning station.
