About Fairview Campground
Fairview Campground is approximately 25 minutes north of Kernville on the Upper Kern. Sites are available from May to September for $30-32 a night. Some of the 48 sites are directly next to the Kern River while some others have stellar views of the river. Amenities include fire pits, drinking water, vault toilets and picnic tables. This campground offers little to no shade.
Fairview Campground is in a prime location as the McNally’s Burger Stand is only a 3 minute walk away. This is a popular stop for many who are visiting the Kern River or are traveling to the Sequoia National Forest. Also close to this campground is the Packsaddle Trail that ends at a cave. Fairview Campground is only a 35 minute drive to the Trail of 100 Giants in the Sequoia National Forest.
