River Mileage
Ukonom Creek was named after a Karok chief. The main attraction of this creek is a pair of waterfalls that are less than a mile from the confluence of the Klamath river. Getting to them is no easy task though. The trek involves swimming through pools, navigating a number of creek crossings and in general not losing the ‘trail.’
