About Sandy Flat Campground
Sandy Flat Campground is one of only a handful of campgrounds available for camping along the Lower Kern River. Sandy Flat Campground is more secluded than the other campsites in the Lower Kern. This campground does not have cell phone service and is a 10-minute drive from Lake Isabella.
This campground offers sites for tent camping and nonelectric RVs. The amenities include water, vault toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables. It is easy to launch a raft from here, so you could set up an overnight rafting trip with this campground being your stopover. This campsite is a popular destination for fishing activities as The Hobo Fishing Trail is very close by.
Sites are available to book from May to November.
