Pearce Ferry
Until Pearce Ferry rapid becomes manageable, Pearce Ferry is the final takeout on the Grand Canyon. Located on river left, there is a paved ramp with plenty of space up and downstream for gear. There is no water or trash service available here.
Similar to Lee’s Ferry, this ferry location was built at the request of the Mormon church. It was never as popular as Lee’s Ferry and was sold less than a decade later in 1883.
