About Havasu Creek

Havasu Creek one of those places that leaves an indelible mark on a person. The water of Havasu Canyon is a blue-green that is named after the Havusupai Tribe (People of the Blue-Green water) that live upstream. It is possible to hike up the canyon a considerable ways during a mid-day stop on a river trip. Please make sure to stay on the trail unless you are enjoying a float in the canyon.
