About Fence Fault Rapid

An alluvial fan from the left pushes the current towards the right. Large rockfall litter the right side which has larger features that are easily avoidable. If you are doing the Silver Grotto canyoneering loop, this alluvial fan on river left that marks the entrance to the rapid is the “trailhead”.

How to run Fence Fault Rapid

This is a short and fairly easy rapid. Enter left or left of center and splash through the waves. Avoid the right which has larger features. At lower flows, there are rocks far left that can hang up your raft.
