Deubendorff Rapid

How to run Deubendorff Rapid

The scout for Deubendorff Rapid is on river left just above the tongue of the rapid. It is possible to push or pull as you enter the rapid. Either way, enter the rapid in the center tongue with some left-to-right momentum. A large boulder pile on the right side of the entrance prevents entering far right. There are a series of holes down the left side of the rapid that are to be avoided. A clean run works down the fun waves in the center-right side of the rapid. Be wary at the bottom of the rapid – there is a large rock near the right shore of the rapid at the bottom. Aim to end the rapid just to the left of the bottom boulder.
