About Below Fossil Camp

Below Fossil is an excellent camp just below Fossil Rapid. Pull-in for camp is along a long eddy with a steep sand bank leading up to the camping area. There are ledges on the downstream side of camp that make for excellent sunset watching and/or camping. It is possible to hike to main Fossil Camp from Below Fossil.
