Bass Camp

About Bass Camp

Bass Camp is named after William Wallace Bass – an important figure in the history of the Grand Canyon. Bass Camp is a very large, very popular camp that gets lots of winter sun. There is a network of trails that extend out of the back of the camp. It is easy to walk to Bass Crossing camp from main Bass. If it’s hot out, there is a jump rock on the downstream side of the pull-in eddy for Bass Camp.
