Tuolumne River is Online

Providing drinking water for the Bay Area, and whitewater for us boaters, the Tuolumne River is now online.
The Main Stem of the Tuolumne River, starting from the Lumsden Bridge Put-In, begins with boulder-stricken Class IV Rock Garden rapid, and continues with gusto on its 18 mile journey to Don Pedro Reservoir. This stretch can be run as a single day trip, or an overnight trip, and there are numerous fantastic camping options along the way. Make sure to keep your eye on the water level, as it is subject to dramatic change.
The Tuolumne River guidebook and map can be found here.
