Lower Klamath is online

We’re pleased to announce that the Lower Klamath has been added to our database of rivers. At the moment, we have Happy Camp to Coon Creek mapped, and will likely get a number of other Lower Klamath runs up and live very shortly.
The Lower Klamath reminds me quite a bit of the Upper Kern river due to its amazing access and scenery. You would think that would be a contradiction but I was pleasantly surprised to see how little traffic there was on the road that follows the river.
Other highlights of the Lower Klamath that I enjoy include the wildlife and the camping. On my most recent trip we saw river otters, eagles, even signs of a bear. The camping is excellent with quite a few sites offering big sandy beaches with swimming holes – something I wasn’t expecting on a dam release river.
Anyway, the data is up. As always, feel free to message us if you come across a typo or a mistake.
